POTTER’S HOUSE FAMILY CHURCH

MAINTENANCE AND SAFETY DEPARTMENT
BACKGROUND

Through the grace of God Potters House Family Church is the fast growing church, among its multi areas of growth PHFC has been growing in membership. Such growth inevitably necessitated for expansion in property and increase in assets in order to serve members/church efficiently, through the grace of God such expansion and increase have materialized and it’s on going. In order to preserve and safeguard these assets and properties PHFC established the department known as Maintenance and Safety Department.
DEPARTMENT’S RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are the functions of this department:

1)      Ensure proper handling of Assets, in order to elongate its life span

2)      Develop, Update and Monitor assets inventory in order to quantify assets and tracking thereof.

3)      Conduct routine/periodic inspection on assets in order to ensure proper handling and functioning thereof.

4)      Provide Maintenance and Repair Support e.g. maintain/repair assets or recommends credible service providers for maintenance and repair purposes.

STRUCTURE
The department is headed by Mr S. Sithebe who is serving as the department’s chairperson.
This department comprises of members from different age groups and expertise, and its doors are always opened to welcome members who wish to join the department in order to contribute in accomplishment of the set functions of the department as defined by the Church leadership.
